These delightful vintage gold earrings showcases the beauty of jewellery from the 1970s, a naturalistic design based on geometric forms and inspired by the wild natural world.
Dates back to 1976, these Deakin and Francis gold earrings each measures 15mm at the widest point. They feature many yellow gold bars sit on open mount in a random manner. The bars are finished in plain and polished finish. A decoration that is typical of 1970s jewellery.
There are a total of 6 natural Rubies, each measures approximately 2.5mm in diameter, estimate total gemstone weight is 0.48ct. They have a vivid and intense raspberry red shade, vibrant and beautiful.
On the earring posts show the 9ct gold hallmark from the Birmingham Assay Office, with date letter B (1976) and D&F. This fine jewellery collector’s item is in excellent preowned condition, they come with a gift presentation packaging.
