This stunning naturalistic motif brooch features a large synthetic Colour-Change Sapphire (lab-created) in secure bezel set, mounted on handmade sea-urchin shape gold mounting. The gold mounting has a slight rosy hint, and tests as 12ct Gold.
The impressive lab-created Sapphire measures approx. 20mm x 12mm x 6mm, estimated gemstone weight is 11 Carats. It has a medium purple colour with a hint of blue, and appears reddish purple under incandescent light. Secure with a C-clasp and comes complete with safety chain, the setting is solid and sound. Overall size of this beautiful brooch is 28.5mm long x 22mm wide x 15mm deep. She has been looked after very well, in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There are some markings but they are rubbed and unreadable. This stunning gold brooch will go well with any outfits, the clasp is in good working condition.
