Description
A bright and lively Victorian Diamond Engagement Ring features a single Old-Mine Cut Diamond in secure 8-prong setting. The Diamond is very bright and sparkly, and of great presence. Old cut diamond rings are highly sought after, the diamonds tend to have a higher crown and larger culet.
Mounted on a Platinum head and an 18ct Yellow Gold shank, this hand-cut Diamond measures approximately 4.5mm by 3.9mm (estimated 0.30 Carat). The setting enhanced the dimension of the diamond wonderfully. This Diamond is eye-clean, fiery, and lively, assessed clarity is SI1 and colour H/I. No naked eye visible inclusion. Old-mine cut Diamonds are hand-cut, but they are very bright and tend to have an attractive antique appeal!
She is marked PLAT and 18CT. Perfect for stacking or worn alone, she makes an ideal engagement ring. In excellent condition, the Diamond is held securely, the prongs are in good condition, overall with nice patina to it.
She is a finger size L1/2(UK) or 6(US) but could be sized to fit you.
