Description
Embellished with a good quality natural Diamond, this antique band is made with 18ct Yellow Gold.
The centre natural old mine cut Diamond measures approximately 2.5mm in diameter (estimated 0.10 carat or 10 points). The diamond is very bright and fiery, eye clean with no visible inclusion. It is set in a star shape flush setting and secure with many small claws.
Old Cut Diamonds were hand cut and each diamond is unique. They tend to have a larger culet, higher crown and a smaller table compared to modern brilliant cut diamonds. They have a special charm and are highly sought-after!
Circa 1900s, she has no marking but tests as 18ct gold. She has been re-polished very recently, ideal as anniversary gift or to commemorate a special memory or trip. In excellent condition, with gift presentation packaging.
