Description
Dates back to the Edwardian period, this exquisite trilogy style ring is set with three wonderful natural Opal cabochons with 4 old-cut Diamonds to add sparkles, set in 18CT Yellow Gold shank.
The three Opal cabochons are natural and of good quality, with the dominate flashing of colour as red, the highly desirable colour in Opals. They all display good play of colour, showing strong flashings of red, yellow, pink, and flickers of neon green, teal, blue, purple, and orange, showcasing brilliant opalescence effect can be observed from all angles.
The adjacent old-cut colourless round Diamonds are eye-clean, bright and of great presence. Old Cut Gemstones are well sought after, they were hand cut and unique, tend to have a higher crown, larger culet and small table.
She is marked S&E (attributed to maker Schaverien and Eastmead). She has British hallmarks, the date letter is rubbed. In excellent condition, currently a finger size N1/2(UK) or 6.75 (US) but could be sized to fit you. With a new presentation box.
