Circa 1880, this beautifully made engagement ring is embellished with good quality old-cut Diamonds. colourless Diamonds, set in buttery shade 18ct Yellow Gold.
The Diamonds are old-mine cut. These hand-cut diamond rings are highly sought after, the diamonds tend to have a higher crown and larger culet. Each diamond measures approximately 2mm in diameter, estimated total diamond weight is 0.42ct. They are of great presence when worn, very bright and fiery, no naked eye visible inclusion. Assessed diamond clarity is VS to SI and colour H-I.
Inside the shank is the maker’s mark SB&S Ld. It is also marked 18CT for 18ct gold and tests as such. Perfect for stacking or worn alone, ideal as an engagement ring or to commemorate a significant life event. In excellent condition, with gift presentation packaging.
