Description
Dates back to the 1950s, this unisex gold signet ring features an oval shape natural Bloodstone tablet in secure bezel set. Bloodstone is a popular gemstone in jewellery in Victorian era, it symbolises courage and vitality.
The smooth and streamlined shoulders direct viewers attention to the centre Bloodstone and lead into a plain flat band towards the back. This Bloodstone has a beautiful dark green body-colour with red patches that resemble spots of blood (hence the name Bloodstone). It measures 10mm by 8mm.
This ring’s flush design is versatile enough to blend in our everyday activities. Fully hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 9ct gold, with sponsor mark CG&S and date letter K for 1959.
