Description
Circa 1940s to 50s, this beautifully made ring features an oval red Ruby to centre and a halo of good quality sparkling diamonds. She is perfect as an engagement ring, anniversary gift or to commensurate a milestone life event.
Supported by many prongs, the natural Ruby is an oval brilliant cut. It has a striking and vivid raspberry red colour, the intense highly saturated red with a hint of pink is mesmerizing. It measures approx. 5mm x 4mm, estimated gemstone weight is 0.62 carat.
The surrounding round Diamonds totalled approx. 0.25ct (each measures approximately 1.8mm in diameter). Assessed diamond clarity is VS to SI.
Ideal for stacking or worn alone, she is marked 18CT and tests as 18ct gold. The prongs have been rebuilt very recently, in excellent condition.
