Beautifully made with 9ct Yellow Gold, this stunning vintage natural Opal and Diamond festoon necklace featuring a romantic floral motif is embellished with many white precious Opals and colourless Diamonds to add extra sparkles.
The Opal drops are lively and beautiful. They are pear-shaped, cushion-shaped and round-shaped, secure with bezel or rub-over setting. They displays good play of colour, showing strong flashings of red, and flickers of neon green, orange, red, yellow, showcasing brilliant opalescence effect that can be observed from all angles. The leaves are embellished with colourless Diamonds, there are a total of 10 round single cut Diamonds (estimated diamond weight is 0.05ct).
The largest pear-shaped Opal measures approx. 8mm by 6mm. Secure with a barrel clasp, this necklace measures approx. 15.5 inch or 394mm long (including the pendant). The pendant section measures 45mm (1.8 inch) wide by 37mm (1.5 inch) drop. There are British hallmarks near the clasp, marked LA, 375, Birmingham, and date letter g.
This vintage gem-set necklace is in excellent preowned condition, no damage or missing gemstone. Come with a presentation box.
