Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Rectangle Bloodstone Signet Ring

This substantial and bold signet ring features a rectangle shape natural Bloodstone tablet in secure bezel set, mounted in solid 9CT Yellow Gold, the textured shoulders create a stark contrast with the shiny polished surface, and leads into a comfortable plain flat band towards the back.

This Bloodstone has a beautiful dark green body-colour with red patches that resemble spots of blood (hence the name Bloodstone). It measures 11mm height by 9mm wide. Bloodstone is a popular gemstone in jewellery in Victorian era, it symbolises courage and vitality.

This ring is hallmarked by London Assay Office, the markings are rubbed although the London Assay Office mark is still visible, together with the Sponsor Mark LW&G. 

This vintage ring is in excellent preowned condition, it is ready to be worn or to gift. The stone is held securely, small sign of usage commensurate with age.  With gift presentation packaging.
