Edwardian OEC Cornflower Blue Sapphire & Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold Trilogy Engagement Ring

Circa 1910, with the finest colour natural blue Sapphire to centre, this genuine Edwardian engagement ring makes a perfect engagement ring. 

Set in a secure bezel setting, the centre blue Sapphire has a soft and velvety blue colour with a hint of lavender. The adjacent good quality Diamonds are set in a pear-shaped setting, they are bright and of great presence, assessed clarity is VS and colour G/H.

All the gemstones are old european cut. These hand-cut gemstones have an attractive antique appeal and are bright and fiery! Old-cut gemstone rings are highly sought after, the gemstones tend to have a smaller table and a higher crown.

Mounted on a rich and buttery 18CT Yellow Gold, the secure bezel setting compliments the gemstones wonderfully. This petite beautiful ring is marked 18CT. She lays close to the finger with her low profile design.

This natural Sapphire measures approximately 0.39ct (4.5mm in diameter) whereas the Diamonds measure around 2.7mm to 2.8mm in diameter each (estimated total diamond weight is 0.16ct).

She is in excellent condition, the gemstones are held securely, small sign of wear commensurate with age included minor wear to sapphire facet that is only visible under a loupe. Perfect for stacking or worn alone, she makes a wonderful engagement ring or an anniversary gift. Comes with gift presentation packaging.
